History

Ricoh, Savin, and Lanier (formerly Gestetner) brands are part of the Ricoh family. At the beginning these brands were created independently to supply different markets. Ricoh was set to be directed to small and medium sized businesses, Lanier was for large corporations, and Savin was for the smaller companies. During this time, Savin and Lanier were acquired by Ricoh.
